From 2b6ba77325c554bb397e04cf0129ac17bef2b01b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Rafael Espindola Date: Mon, 13 Apr 2015 10:28:56 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Add r234615 back, but make sure outs() is binary. Original message. Have one raw_fd_ostream constructor forward to the other. This fixes some odd behaviour differences between the two. In particular, the version that takes a FD no longer unconditionally sets stdout to binary. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@234734 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8 --- lib/Support/raw_ostream.cpp | 46 +++++++++++++++++-------------------- 1 file changed, 21 insertions(+), 25 deletions(-) diff --git a/lib/Support/raw_ostream.cpp b/lib/Support/raw_ostream.cpp index 37e892e6864..b8588af702b 100644 --- a/lib/Support/raw_ostream.cpp +++ b/lib/Support/raw_ostream.cpp @@ -487,47 +487,41 @@ void format_object_base::home() { // raw_fd_ostream //===----------------------------------------------------------------------===// -raw_fd_ostream::raw_fd_ostream(StringRef Filename, std::error_code &EC, - sys::fs::OpenFlags Flags) - : Error(false), UseAtomicWrites(false), pos(0) { - EC = std::error_code(); +static int getFD(StringRef Filename, std::error_code &EC, + sys::fs::OpenFlags Flags) { // Handle "-" as stdout.
